Sarah Grace

Bedtime for Sarah was often a group effort. Everyone was involved in story time. Aunt Lori and Grandma had several nights of rocking and singing her to bed. Once we got home we had to break that habit

Thanks to Spens for helping decorate the tree. Since we were going to be in Utah for Christmas I refused to put up any decorations so thankfully Grandma saved us and we decorated a little tree. Sarah loved it!

This is her Santa dress. Did I mention I get a lot of grief from Jen and from Kevin that her hair always looks the same. What can I say I don't do hair. I think it's pretty good that it's combed and out of her face (sort of). I would try doing other things, but they often ended up looking ridiculous.

She rode this carousel for over an hour, going around and around, it didn't even phase her. Notice she is riding it alone, I could hardly stomach one ride...Giddyup.

My little fashionista. Whenever anyone asks Sarah her name she never just says Sarah, it's always Sarah Grace.

Cake anyone????

My friend, Melinda, is a Wilton cake decorator so a bunch of us are taking a mini course from her. We first learned to make the buttercream frosting, the next class we had to bring our own thing to decorate and our own frosting. The final class we will be learning how to make roses and other stuff, I don't know what but I'm sure it will be fun. It's been very fun decorating cakes and chatting with the girls. The funny thing about the cake I decorated was that I bought the mold for Sarah's first birthday, but got it home and realized I didn't have a clue as to what I was doing and she was only 1 anyway so what did she care what kind of cake she had. The cake mold has been sitting in my cupboard for 2 years and has finally been put to good use. Happy 1st birthday Sarah...better late than never...Right???

Jen helped me set up our blog, but now she's in Utah and I'm in Illinois and I am completely clueless as to what to do. So this is a test to see if it actually posts anything to my blog.
